This is a can't-miss family movie.After all，EVERYONE seems to like inspiring family films--especially when it's based on real people.And，not surprisingly，I had a thoroughly good time watching it--though I do remend you see it with a box of Kleenex nearby。
The film is about a young man named Michael Oher--an extremely large black teenager who has bounced from home to home in the foster care system.Currently，he's in a new school and no one realizes that he has no place to live.Yet in spite of having a
crack-addicted mother，a father who was killed in prison and every
other reason to be an angry powder keg，he's a very gentle and sad soul---who is also enormous and has amazing potential to play football。
A nosy but very nice lady (Sandra Bullock) convinces her husband
(Tim McGraw) to bring Michael home. at least for the night.But this one night turns into a permanent living situation and he bees an important part of the family.However，despite this new living
arrangement working out well，Michael is so far behind in school and his GPA so low that he hasn't a prayer to play football in college.That's because although many schools are now offering
him athletic scholarships，his GPA is too low to allow him to accept these offers.So，with his new family's help，perhaps he can pull up those grades and have a future。
This film is super-inspirational and sweet--mostly because it's true.I am sure that some poetic license was taken when making the film (I especially wonder if the little brother could be THIS precocious and adorable)，but overall they did a good job of sticking reasonably close the facts.While I loved Sandra Bullock's performance (she's great as usual)，I was a bit surprised that she received Oscar for it--I did see a few performances in other films that year that I thought were a bit better (such as the leading young lady in Precious).Also，Tim
McGraw，while a lesser role in the film，did a surprisingly good
job--especially as he's really known as a country singer，not an actor.All around，a very good film and one that is meant to inspire。

"Flushed Away" is the DreamWorks’ work. It also is a representative that the Aardman studio its formally entering the Hollywood. Pet mouse Rowdy’s luxury life was ruined by a mouse Syd climbing up from the sewer, and he even rushed Roddy into the sewer. Roddy never experienced such a place like getting into a nightmare, and his glamorous dress and shiny shoes was alien to the dirty sewer. Going through a lot of hard work, they finally returned home to Roddy. However, as far as Rita consider, Rowdy’s home seems comfortable but like the canary cage. The movie earned the Annie Award for Best Screenplay Award, the British Film Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film nomination.
Flushed Away is the perfect marriage between the American DreamWorks and their crass sense of humor and the British Aardman and their dry sense of humor. Besides the obvious jokes about the sewer there's much to enjoy for the more sophisticated viewer.
The British Aardman Animation company is the world's leading motion animation production. Cartoon story is fairly simple, but there is some positive educational value which is so easily accepted by children and allows them to learn something. I like to watch cartoons which can have more extensive show forth than ordinary movie, and the performance can be more quite diverse also has more imagination. Cartoon can express the scene that ordinary movie cannot express, so you can always see something different ---- such as rat city.
This story is particularly interesting, such as the period of a clown frog instead of the frog boss call somebody is quite creative. The film has some pretty remarkable figures. After watching the movie Gua Sha which about the differences between American and Chinese culture .I do more believe that there are a lot of differences among distinct countries ,such as language,the way of expressing love and interacting with other people, interpersonal relationship,family values and so forth.
At the beginning of this movie, when the leading actor Xu Datong wins a prize then he says, he loves America and America is an place fills with opportunities .However ,misfortune may be an actual blessing, one day, his five-year-old child called Denis gets a fever, Xu Datong's father does not know the introduction of the medicine so he does Gua Sha on his grandson, which leaves red marks on skin and in hospital causes a lawsuit of child abuse.In court, Xu Datong explains clearly about Gua Sha is just a Chinese traditional treatment,while these Americans does not know this kind of treatment.Meanwhile confronting many distorted allegations, he loses his temple. As a result, he is deprived of Denis’s custody. He is forbidden to meet Denis.
Because of cultural differences. Xu Datong's father returns to China. For Denis’s custody , Xu Datong resigns his job,he loses his peaceful family.It reflects the cultural shock in foreign country. Finally the couple overcome the obstacles through their efforts.
It also should be reminded that the scene:when the hero Xu Datong explains to his son he beats his son for love,and his son does what his father dose to his friends and talks with his father he loves his friend.Yes,we Chinese do believe it .But American may not understand it as we do not know why they emphasize so much on privacy.Maybe as the scene Xu Datong explains he beats his son for showing face to his superior who does not understand the the way of expressing love and interacting with other people and interpersonal relationship. So do we.
To conclude,it is no need to worry the cultural differences and cultural shock as long as we deal with it appropriately.Although there are some difficulties, we should remember that doing as the Romans do and many things will be easy.

After watching Flipped, i was totally moved by its romantic plot. Theheroine, Juli Baker, who is regarded as a strange student in the school, didleave a strong impression in my heart. What i want to say after watching it isthat a special girl deserves a beautiful love. Juli is the one i admire somuch.
Juli Baker met Bryce Loski in her second grade, and she was flipped fromthen on because of his watermelon-scented hair and a pair of dazzling eyes.Though Bryce shew no interest in her and did everything he could to keep awayfrom her, she never gave up and spent the whole year
wondering if she could ever get his kiss. When they were in seventh grade,Juli fell in love with a large, old sycamore tree, which no one understood.Right after seeing the tree being cut down but Bryce didn’t help, and seeing himthrowing the eggs she gave him, Juli began to think about whether Bryce was theright person. Fortunately, Bryce finally found that Juli was so precious a girl,and the ending was happiness.
There are two impressive scenes that i eagerly want to share. First of allis the scene that Juli sits on the large, old sycamore tree which let her seethe world in a much more enlightened way. She can stay on the tree quietly for awhole day, looking at the marvelous world with curiosity. She loves nature, andis willing to protect it at the risk of her “reputation” among the schoolmates.From my perspective, she is an invaluable gift compared to her schoolmates. Shenever follows fashion blindly, instead, she exactly knows what she wants. Askourselves, when the whole world call you “nerd”or “freak”, are you dare to turna blind eye to these rumors? Do you still have courage to follow your heart?
Moreover, it was the sweet smile Juli gave to her uncle that made me movedagain. She never blames her mentally challenged uncle, on the contrary, shechose to celebrate the birthday for him. When her uncle lost control in thepublic, she didn’t feel ashamed. Mature as she is, she shoulders theresponsibility of her family. What’s more, she clearly knows the importance oftolerance and love.
No wonder that Chet, Bryce’s grandfather, says that Juli is a rare kind ofgirl who's hard to come across. And it is no wonder that this special girl canfinally find her soul mate and harvest her sweetest first love.
