A person who believes in them will keep trying to reach his goal no matter how many times he fails. Benjamin Franklin once said,”Great works are performed not by strength,but by perseverance.”From the remark,we can infer that,of all the advantageous characteristics,perseverance plays a crucial role in one’s success.
Remember that year, I bought a bike,but I can't ride a bike! Mom seems to understand my thoughts, gently to me: "tomorrow I'll show you to your square, teach you to ride a bicycle." "Good!" I'm happy to reply.

i have a dream
every one has his own dream.when i was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .but now ,when i am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.
i have got quite different eperience from other girls.while they were playing toys at home,while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .i was running in the hard rain,jumping in the heavy snow,pitching in the strong wind.nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.yeah ,of course ,i'm an athlete,i'm so proud of that all the time .
when i was 10 years old ,i became a shot-put athlete.the training was really hard ,i couldn't bear the heavy shot in my hands .but i always believe that "god only help those who help themselves".during those hard days,i find i was growing more quickly than others of the same age.to be an athlete is my most correct choice.but,i quit my team after entering high school because of a silly ecuse.i really didn't want to stop my sports career anyway.
today i say to you my friends that even though i must face the difficulties of yesterday ,today and tomorrow .i still have a dream .it is a dream deeply rooted in my soul.
i have a dream that one day ,i can run,jump and pitch just like i used to be.
i have a dream that one day , i can go back to my dream sports and join the national team.
i have a dream that one day ,i can stand on the highest place at the olympic games.with all the cameras pointing at me.i will tell everyone that i'm so proud to be a chinese athlete!
this is my hope .this is the faith that i continue my steps with!!!

it's a great honor for me to stand here to deliver a speech to you. then today i want to talk something about dreams and reality.
as the famous russian litterateur lev tolstoy (列夫、托尔斯泰)said, “ideal is the beacon(烟火、灯塔). without ideal, there is no secure (无虑的, 安全的, 安心的, 可靠的, 保险的)direction; without a direction, there is no life.” so there’s no doubt that everyone needs his or her own ideal. have you ever thought that what is practical and sensible(.明智的, 有感觉的, 明理的) will connect with our most treasured dreams? maybe, to somebody, reality has little relation to ideal. to others nothing can be done without the sense of reality. so make our dreams a part of our reality. and make our reality a part of our dreams. there is no reason why our dreams must oppose our reality. improve our dreams and our reality by bringing them together.
as a university student, establishing a dream is one of the most important things we have to do .but everyone must see the reality clearly at first. your family condition, your personal ability, your social intercourse (交往、交流), your subject and the job you want to do, these things show you the reality and lead you to establish a dream.
further more, difficult or otherwise, we should put the power of reality into our dreams. last but not least remember to work hard at the task of chasing 追逐our dreams. do believe that we can achieve our ideal step by step by the passage of time!

it is a commonplace among moralists that you cannot get happiness by pursuing it. this is only true if you pursue it unwisely. gamblers at monte carlo are pursuing money, and most of them lose it instead, but there are other ways of pursuing money, which often succeed. so it is with happiness. if you pursue it by means of drink, you are forgetting the hangover. epicurus pursued it by living only in congenial society and eating only dry bread, supplemented by a little cheese on feast days. his method proved successful in his case, but he was a valetudinarian, and most people would need something more vigorous. for most people, the pursuit of happiness, unless supplemented in various ways, is too abstract and theoretical to be adequate as a personal rule of life. but i think that whatever personal rule of life you may choose it should not, ecept in rare and heroic cases, be incompatible with happiness. if you look around at the men and women whom you can call happy, you will see that they all have certain things in common.

i’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. i hope you will like it, and found our young people’s advantages.
people are always taking about the problem of youth. if there is one —which i take leave doubt —then it is older people who create it, not the young themselves. there is only one difference between an old man and a young one: the young man has a glorious future before him and the old one has a splendid future behind him.
about two years ago, i was graduated in nanjing university and came into company and then i was assigned the department of , and became an assistant of technical. i felt that i was just young and uncertain—that i was a new person in a huge factory. i felt that people use the curiosity eyes looking at me, and gave me a message that: i have a lot of problems. maybe some of them assumed that i was look like a child and too young to take this work. they often said：“you have not been born when i was join work!”others maybe assumed i was a “bookworm” and lacked practice. also the sense of responsibility maybe is another problem. i would have been very pleased to be regarded as something so interesting as a problem. for one thing, being a problem gives you a certain identity, and that is one of the things the young are busily engaged in seeking.
actually，you find young people eciting. they have an air of freedom, and they have not a dreary commitment to mean ambitions or love of comfort. they are not anious social climbers, and they have no devotion to material things. they accept new things and knowledge very quickly, and give people the impression of sunny.
sometimes, we may be conceited, ill-mannered，fatuous or lazy. well, i acknowledge all of the young people are interesting in entertainment. they maybe dancing or singing very later in the night, and the net day they were very listless in the work. please do not turn for protection to dreary clinch about respect for elders—as if mere age were a reason for respect. we are equals, and you will argue with us, as an equal, if you thick we are wrong. if we do a mistake during the work, please think back recall when you are a fresh man in the factory. so please don not anger and give more patience guide to us just like your master worker guided you.
as the master of a company in the future, our young people must be going on learning in practice, enhance our specialized knowledge and the sense of responsibility. treasures the time and work hard, let the short youth be more meaningful!

尊敬的各位领导、老师：
大家下午好！我叫张瑜，原来在南坞小学工作，近几年来一直从事小学英语的教学，今年因工作调动，调整到我们东申小学工作，我感到非常的高兴，同时，也非常感谢我们学校领导能给我这样一次展示自我、成就自我的机会。我今天我竞聘的岗位是三、四年级的英语教学。
首先我说一下自己的基本情况和工作业绩：我xx年毕业于淄博师专数学系，后分配到召口中学从事数学教学，xx年开始改教初中英语，xx年因身体状况，调入小学从事小学英语教学至今，xx年自考大学本科毕业，xx年被评为中学一级教师。自工作以来，我一直兢兢业业，勤奋工作，所教科目成绩一直据全镇前列，特别是近几年来从事小学英语教学，所教班级多次获得全镇第一名，个人也多次被评为镇教育先进工作者、优秀教师，区优秀教师，个人年考核优秀等次的荣誉称号，并有多篇论文在市级报纸发表。
下面我谈一下，我竞聘英语教师的几个优势和条件：
1、有良好的师德。
我为人处事的原则是：老老实实做人，认认真真工作，开开心心生活。自己一贯注重个人品德素质的培养，努力做到尊重领导，团结同志，工作负责，办事公道，不计较个人得失，对工作对同志有公心，爱心，平常心和宽容心。自从参加工作以来，我首先在师德上严格要求自己，要做一个合格的人民教师！认真学习和领会上级教育主管部门的文件精神，与时俱进，爱岗敬业，为人师表，热爱学生，尊重学生，争取让每个学生都能享受到最好的.教育，都能有不同程度的发展。
2、有较高的专业水平。
我从淄博师专数学系毕业后曾到山东师范大学进修英语教学培训，系统而又牢固地掌握了英语教学的专业知识。多年来始终在教学第一线致力于小学英语教学及研究，使自己的专业知识得到进一步充实、更新和扩展。
3、有较强的教学能力。
从选择教师这门职业的第一天起，我最大的心愿就是做一名受学生欢迎的好老师，为了这个心愿，我一直在不懈努力着。要求自己做到牢固掌握本学科的基本理论知识，熟悉相关学科的文化知识，不断更新知识结构，精通业务，精心施教，把握好教学的难点重点，认真探索教学规律，钻研教学艺术，努力形成自己的教学特色。我的教学风格和教学效果普遍受到学生的认可和欢迎。
以上所述情况，是我竞聘英语教师的优势条件，假如我有幸竞聘上岗，这些优势条件将有助于我更好的开展英语教学工作。
如果我有幸竞聘成功，能担任三四年级英语教师的话，我将从以下方面开展工作。
1、认真贯彻执行党的教育路线、方针、政策和学校的各项决定。
加强学习，积极进取，求真务实，开拓创新，不断提高自己的综合素质、创新能力，用自己的勤奋加智慧，完成好教学任务。使我校的英语教学上一个大的台阶。
2、做一个科研型的教师。
教师的从教之日，正是重新学习之时。新时代要求教师具备的不只是操作技巧，还要有直面新情况、分析新问题、解决新矛盾的本领。进行目标明确、有针对性解决我校的英语教学难题。
3、做一个理念新的教师。
目前，新一轮的基础教育改革早已在我市全面推开，做为新课改的实践者，要在认真学习新课程理念的基础上，结合自己所教的学科，积极探索有效的教学方法。大力改革教学，积极探索实施创新教学模式。把英语知识与学生的生活相结合，为学生创设一个富有生活气息的真实的学习情境，同时注重学生的探究发现，引导学生在学习中学会合作交流，提高学习能力。
4、做一个富有爱心的老师“不爱学生就教不好学生”，“爱学生就要爱每一个学生”。
作为一名教师，要无私地奉献爱，处处播洒爱，使我的学生在爱的激励下，增强自信，勇于创新，不断进取，成长为撑起祖国一片蓝天的栋梁。 用质朴的心爱护学生，用诚挚的情感染学生，用精湛的教学艺术熏陶学生，用忘我的工作态度影响学生。
